Hindu Temples

This Hindu Temple is located just next to the Chinese Primary School. It has been around there for at least 30 years. During Hindu festive season such Thaipusan, this place is very crowded.

The temple management definitely works with the Chinese Primary school to manage the traffic along the small road between these 2 buildings. Otherwise, it is going to be chaotic.

Map

There is another Hindu Temple located along the Jalan Masai, at the exit point of the town toward Plentong direction. But this is a relatively small one.

Masai Main Street

By one look at the photo, an outsider will think this is a chaotic, lack of proper traffic system and weary old town? Well, you are not completely wrong.

The traffic volume on this street is huge. Mainly because it is the main road connecting JB to Pasir Gudang, Kota Masai and Kong Kong. And it is also because of this, it brings business opportunities to Masai. A 3-Storey shop along the main street costs about RM1 million! Anyone interested?

Map

Hwa Sun Restaurant (华山烧腊饭店)

Well, you really cannot ignore this one if you are talking about the good food in JB! Although the shop is not so impressive, the duck and Char-Siew rice is well famous in Johor Bahru area. It even got customers coming all the way from Singapore! Do you believe it?
